Nisan Dalbayrak

Clinical psychologist Nisan Dalbayrak completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Business Administration at Koç University in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she did her internship at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital, Esenler Community Mental Health Center, and Yankı Yazgan Private Güzel Günler Polyclinic. During the same period, she worked as a research assistant in the Child and Family Studies and Language and Cognition Laboratories at Koç University.

She completed her specialization in Applied Clinical Psychology at Penn State University's Master's Program. For her clinical internship, she worked for a year under supervision at the TW Ponessa psychological counseling center. During this time, she applied psychotherapy using cognitive behavioral therapy methods to child, adolescent, and adult clients, participated in weekly individual and group supervisions, and attended monthly psychology training sessions. After completing her clinical internship, she worked for a year as a psychological counselor in the Opioid Treatment Program at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. During her time as a psychological counselor, she provided therapy support to clients with substance abuse and comorbid psychological disorders based on a biopsychosocial perspective, conducted behavioral interventions for psychological crises, and performed psychosocial assessments.

Nisan Dalbayrak provides in-person and online psychotherapy services in Turkish and English to adolescents and adults.

His work includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR Therapy .   She utilizes Mindfulness approaches and continues to receive supervision within the field she works in, as well as participating in training, seminars, and symposiums.
